ABOUT

Welcome to Borealis Archives! I am so glad that you decided to visit my website and consider utilizing me and my professional services.

I developed Borealis with one concept in mind: explore the past in order to enrich the present. Archives are incredibly important to understanding not only our personal histories, but the histories of our community as well. It is my sincere hope that I can assist you in preserving whichever piece of the past you desire for future generations to learn from.

A little bit on my background: In 2014 I received my BA in Literature from SUNY Empire State College and in 2020 I received my Masters of Library and Information Science (with a concentration in archival science) from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During my fieldwork training, I helped to develop an archive at the Charles Allis Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduation, I moved to New York and worked as a reference librarian and local history librarian for three years before making the decision to start my own business.

Thank you so much for visiting and I can't wait to hear from you!
